This nice lady let me take a photo of her T shirt. I am pleased that this is catching on, not just with cougars. The Buffalo Field Campaign in Yellowstone Park is trying to make a wildlife crossing bridge so buffalo don’t have to deal with cars. It’s a pretty design.
I've never understood why Yellowstone doesn't put speed bumps on the road through out the park. Sure, people who want to speed would complain, but the park is there to protect the animals. With speed bumps that strange person who managed to run into and over 13 of the bison wouldn't have been able to do it. The police investigated and said it was an accident. Yes, it was snowing, but I thought there were ways to make driving in winter conditions safer = chains, slowing down. Apparently, running into and killing bison is a way to slow your semi-down.
