Maxwell is a Tabby with frizzy type of coat and all of a sudden he seems like his legs got so Tall (long) ?  He is little only 8 weeks but he is almost comical that all of a sudden you see this butterball body on long legs.

Has anyone had a kitten seem to shoot up all of a sudden? I try to image what he will look like full grown ...kittens are amazing.

His two sisters are totally different (well all three are different looking) Ella is long in the body but in proportion with her legs and Cami is short and sturdy looking all over.  What a delightful bunch of characters!

Oh yeah,  kittens can go through all kinds of strange shape morphing as I call it  on their way to growing up.

One week the legs shoot up so the kitten looks  very long legged.    then later the body stretches out ,  .  and they can go back and forth like that for a while.

There can certainly be variation in the growth pattern  of even kittens with the same parents.    It's also possible the kittens in the litter had more than one father, which can happen if a cat breeds with multiple toms close together in time , so when the eggs are released there is sperm from more than one tomcat there to fertilize them.
