Black smoke or just black?

Hi everyone noticed this thread and currently have three 3 week old kittens and I'm thinking this girl is smoke what does everyone think?

Can anyone tell me if my cat has fever coat or is more a black smoke? It seems like the grey parts are coming from the root. But it is also several different shades of grey
