Are you ever lap ready?

Lily has recently taken to sitting in my lap....sort of. I'm never ready for her so she takes time adjusting and tumbling off a bit and then climbing back up. This goes on for about 10 minutes before she decides that's enough.

So I'm wondering if you're ready for your cat to sit in your lap? (if they do)

I've always had a suspicion that kitties look for the most inopportune moments to jump in my lap especially when I have to tinkle
