Don't tell me anything about it...I'm only a few pages in, but I'm just wondering how many people have actually read it, when some say its a classic....

Its pretty good so far...I'm only about 25 pages in though!

I had to read it for a high school class and I kept falling asleep.
Then again, I hate "having" to read a book. If I read it today, I might enjoy it more.

I've read it and its actually one of my favorite books. The best thing about the book is the brilliance in the way it is written and formatted. You're going to love it!

I had to read it in 8th grade. I wasn't really into reading books if I "had" to...but that year, I actually read that one...and another called "Cold River". Both were actually very good books. I loved both of them.

I read it on my own. I have a stuffed rat that I bought from IKEA that I use in my classes as "Algernon" the class mascot. Only a couple of people from each class know the reference. ( I train adults.) BTW, Cliff Robertson played Charlie in the movie.

Read it years ago and again recently - loved it - also liked the movie based on the book - "Charlie" - they did a really good job with the movie.

You will love the book.
