Ankarsum Mixer

I get into some of the strangest things on the Internet. I ran into something about Ankarsum mixer so then I watched tutorials on Youtube. Has anyone here used one of these? They are from Europe and are connected to the Electrolux company. They are comparable price wise to the Kitchenaid professional stand mixer but they work completely different. That is what got me watching Youtube videos, I saw a picture of one and wanted to know how that works.

With the stainless steel bowl the whole bowl turns. That is what is used for bread doughs. The glass bowl has a shaft that an accessory with two arms on it fit on. The bowl stays stationary and that piece with the arms turns, it's for batters and meringues. The whole base then is turned on it's side to use the accessories like the meat grinder.

King Arthur sells this mixer. Quite pricey! Several different colors. $700. Oy!

I read that King Arthur considers this to be the gold standard for mixers.
