Hello, I'm a old member with a new login in name. Anyway, we have 3 cats. Igloo and Basil are the 2 older boys ( ~ 8 years old ) and Parsley is the youngster ( ~ 3 years old ) We had a older cat that passed away about 2 years ago. I mention him because it seemed like he was the dominant male and Iggy and Basil would play with each other all the time when Tonka was alive. After Tonka passed away and Parsley came into our lives, Iggy and Basil aren't friends any more and a lot of slapping and hissing takes place. It doesn't happen every day, but quite often. Is it because both want to be the dominant male now ? If so, what can we do to prevent or slow down this behavior. Thank you for any help.
