It is very hard to assess cat dental conditions on your own. In the absence of very clear symptoms, it is next to impossible. Usually, dental issues are not cancer, so try to remain hopeful that this is a bad tooth.
The only symptoms he had was constant vomiting
He's not been sick since Sunday night
He's not lots weight
He's on blink grain free chicken seems to be ok atm
Is thought of alsorts , kidney cancer thyroid stomach bug
As he not haf bloods yet, could still be something else. Hope not
He had 1 tooth removed about a year ago
How could I not know he has abscess
Those are just a couple of symptoms and all of the symptoms may be easily missed, or absent entirely. Fiona had to have two teeth extracted several years ago after a regularly scheduled exam in which the vet found a problem which had no obvious symptoms.
Hope Felix is doing better. I had a cat who was vomiting. Took her to the vet and her teeth really needed cleaning. She had one tooth that needed to be removed and a tooth that was being reabsorbed and a cleaning. Her vomiting stopped. She has needed many cleanings in her 15 years. She will not allow me to brush her teeth. I have had cats with no teeth issues and some with terrible issues.
