How often do you feed feral/outdoor cats?

I've been feeding a feral tomcat for the last 5 years, I feed him when I see him on my porch which is a few times a day. I would really like to bring him in but he wants no part of it!

    Feral Cat has swollen head

I'll continue to give him the amox for the rest of the week, as far as the trap it will take a while because he's very leery of anything that he's not used too, the last time a cat rescue organization tried to trap him we all had a good laugh as he was sleeping on top of the trap and not...

    Feral Cat has swollen head

He came this evening and the swollen head is no more. I gave him amox. for 2 days and now he seems to be 100% better. Ordered a trap from Amazon and expect it this week, if I successfully trap him he'll get clipped ASAP! Thanks for everyones help!

    Feral Cat has swollen head

I have been told that in this area if AC finds a sick feral they euthanize it.  He just showed up at 4:30am and I put some Amox. in his food, hopefully this will help him. Going to get a trap and see if I can trap and have him neutered. wish me luck.

    Feral Cat has swollen head

No he is not neutered, someone from a cat rescue has tried for a long time to trap him but has never been able to.

    Feral Cat has swollen head

He's the alpha cat around here and is always fighting so your probably correct, he ate 2 cans of wet food today already so I don't expect him back this evening but I will definitely get some amox. in his food next time he's here. Thank you very much for your assistance! I'm very fond of the 2...

    Feral Cat has swollen head

One of the feral cats I feed showed up today with his left cheek very swollen. He seems to be eating fine but also lethargic, I don't have a trap to catch him and really have no clue what is wrong. I've read it could be a tooth or an insect bite. He is not a cat you can touch but he is letting...

    Fat Feral cat

The fat one 'Pretty Boy is neutered and the other 'Benny is intact. There are no females around for the last year or more and I haven't seen any kittens for a few years. Pretty Boy usually eats about a half a can per feeding and Benny when he does come eats about the same but only shows up a few...

    Fat Feral cat

He eats at least 3 times a day sometimes 4, I put Lysine in his food for his first feeding. As far as being wormed I don't know if he was when he was neutered but I've never had it done. He showed up around noon today and ate wet food and left, now 2 1/2 hours later he's back but I'm not going...

    Fat Feral cat

I've been feeding two feral cats (used to be more) for the past few years, both in good shape and fit looking. This past summer one of them disappeared for about a month and then returned with his ear clipped and a few pounds heavier. Now he gained a lot of weight. He sits by front door looking...
