Non-Profit Startup for Feral Kitten Rescue :)

Hey guys!  I've been doing TNR for a couple years in my area now and I release the adults but have always rescued/fostered/homed litters of kittens instead of releasing them back out onto the streets.  I'm expanding to become an actual non-profit Cat & Kitten rescue and preparing to obtain my...

Neutered Male acting weird toward the girls...

Hmmm. It's not his spot. He tried to play (or at least it seemed like play to me) with Edie, the female from his own litter who has lived with all along and she was so angry at him. He was trying to sort of hug around her neck, face to face (they play fight like this a lot and it always seems...

Neutered Male acting weird toward the girls...

Thanks for the input.  Maybe that is the case, he did really like to have that spot on the cat tree before I brought Mama home.  The weird thing is, he used to be the more submissive cat.  Edie, the girl, would eat all her own food then go and push him out of the way so she could eat his too...

Neutered Male acting weird toward the girls...

Here are the video clips.  I obviously miss the beginning of both interactions because I'm not expecting it.   Echo & Mama: Edie & Echo:

Neutered Male acting weird toward the girls...

I have 3 cats, they are all siblings.  Ive had Edie & Echo (sister & brother) for one year.  They are 14 months old.  I have had Mama for only a few weeks.  She is almost 9 months old (their sister from a younger litter).  Mama had kitten 9.5 weeks ago.  I fostered them, found them homes, then...

Help / Advice For my Trapping Dilemma

Hehe thank you again! The photo of Sephora on the painting on the wall is actually in my bathroom, but she did it again at the vet's office, LOL!  The vet kept saying in his thick accent "ohhh my god...what am I supposed to do with THIS?"  haha.   I got another one today!  A male, not the...

Help / Advice For my Trapping Dilemma

One of them moved before I could take a picture (he's a little camera shy haha) but this is what I'm dealing with hahaha.  Funny kid.  You'd never know that she lived her first 4.5 months out in the "wild"...she's a princess now!

Help / Advice For my Trapping Dilemma

Oh, one other question:  Why no towel?  It is a humane trap but I thought I was supposed to sort of disguise it and cover it.  Am I doing the wrong thing by covering it with a towel?  Every time I've ever set it I've used a towel.  Tomorrow I will try without :)

Help / Advice For my Trapping Dilemma

Hello everyone :) Thanks for all the kind words!  I love these kitties so much.   Thank you supermax for all the tips.  I will definitely take them into account.  I never got her used to the trap (the beginning stages you mentioned), I just went straight to putting tuna at the end, and a...

Help / Advice For my Trapping Dilemma

These are the last pictures ( and I hope the bleeding arm is not offensive...it isn't that bad)... She got me while I tried to help the vet catch and hold her for a snap test...... Finally got her into a net and I held the towel over her while they gave her anesthesia, I stayed until she...

Help / Advice For my Trapping Dilemma

First we took the kittens........... This is me taking a picture of where they were born and living.  That yellow line by my elbow marks about a 4" point in the wall, if they tried to get out of that space I think they would have hurt themselves........... This was mama (Sephora) checking...
