Thanks joey. This weather is just making it hard to stay optimistic. If this happened in the summer I would be much less anxious. She's lived outside for at the very least 5 months..so she knows how to survive. It's just these constant storms that are making things really hard
Do you think if she gets to know the other feral cats, they could help lead her to their food source?? I really hope so! I hope they don't bully her out of their territory.
It snowed last night.. I'm thinking that part of the reason I haven't seen her is bc of the weather.
thank you for your...
I didn't even think of that....I'm so glad I spotted her two days later and she seemed ok. Luckily my neighborhood, where I'm hoping she is still hiding in, has only about 10 feral cats and all of them are fixed.. so hopefully there are no tomcats lurking.
she definitely didnt act like a...
And I did spot her two days after she got out. And she was trotting along. She didn't seem like she was in pain or anything. So I'm kinda assuming that her surgery healed successfully.
The zipper in her carrier was opened about an inch. I feel guilty that I didn't think to close it completely. But she was so calm and chilled out that I guess I got too comfortable. That's why I feel guilty...
Thank you. Im going to keep trying to find her. I'm praying for a miracle. I just hope she has survived this long... I hope it's possible that she has adapted to her new environment and I hope she is not completely stressed out.
Ive contacted all local shelters and animal hospitals. And I work about a 30 minute drive from my home. But I think I'm gona take out an add in a local newspaper too. And continue to put out fliers. I also put food out all over my neighborhood every night so that if she is somewhere relatively...
I've been putting up fliers, posting on social media, going door to door, setting up traps, putting out food. I can't find her. I have no idea where she could be. The weather has been terrible. Blizzards. Any chance she could still be alive after a week and a half? Can she survive and thrive...
Hm, I'm no expert but that cat looks like he is in good shape and well fed. have you been feeding him for a long time? I would be very hesitant to relocate him. just my two cents! he is lucky you are looking out for him.
thank you for responding. her original territory is about 30 minutes away by car. I doubt she would ever make it there. i live in a mainly residential suburban area so im hoping someone spots her and feeds her.
please say a prayer! she needs all the help she can get.
Hi all, Recently I found a 9 month old cat outside of my job. Ive seen her before and I know for sure that she was stray and not someones pet. One very rainy/cold night she came right up to me and I was able to feed her. the next day I fed her again and I was able to pick her right up and put...
