Hello! I haven't been here in a while, but I have an issue that I can't seem to solve. One of our cats chose a corner of our living room to urinate in for a while. There is now a sectional couch in that corner, so she can't get back there anymore, but the smell is still prevalent. We had the...
My cat, Dory, poops outside the litter box every day. I know it's her and not Vader, the older cat, because I caught her doing it. I took her to the vet, and he said it's a behavioral problem, not a urinary tract infection or the like. He suggested changing the litter in the boxes to see if...
The first question is this: My older cat is making this noise like he's coughing. It's a very dry-sounding noise. He makes the noise, then stops and acts fine, but I'm worried. He' never hacked up a hairball or anything, so I'm wondering if that's what it is or if I should rush him to the kitty...
Here are a few cute pics I got recently of the kitties:
Vader lounging on the loveseat
Vader sunning himself in the window
Both of them cuddling
Dory expressing her aspirations to be a court reporter (that's steno paper sheo pulled off the couch that's wrapped around her)
Vader...
I'm talking about removing all the litter and scrubbing them down so they don't smell so bad. Do you use bleach or is there a special cleaner out there for this? OUrs have never been deep cleaned, which I feel terrible about, but I just had no idea how to do it.
TIA!
I don't know what to do! Dory was spayed on Monday, and when I came home from dropping her off at the vet Vader, our other cat, was very cuddly and more affectionate than usual. It was like he was glad she was gone. I brought Dory home on Tuesday morning, and now Vader is hissing at her and...
My kitten was spayed yesterday, and she's home today. She has eaten just a tiny bit, which I'm sure is normal, and not had much water, but she also has not used the litter box yet. I honestly don't know how often she used it before since it's in the basement normally and I just don't pay...
Dory got spayed today, and although I realize it's a routine procedure, I'm scared that something might go wrong. The vet called and said everything is fine, but a few prayers can't hurt, right?
Thanks!
I don't know what's going on here. She did this a while ago and I got another litter box and it stopped. Now all of the sudden it's started up again. Whenever she does it I check the boxes to see if they're just overly dirty or something and they're clean. I clean them VERY regularly. They...
I put a new one on one of her claws today, and when I checked it after the glue dried, I can't get her claw to come out when I push on her paw. It doesn't seem to be bothering her, but I'm concerned that it's going to hurt her when she tries to bring her claw out. Any thoughts?

Does one brand work better than the other? We currently have SoftClaws on Dory, which work fine, although they fall off occasionally. Are SoftPaws better? If neither work better, does one come in a better assortment of colors than the other?
Thanks!
Here are a couple of Dory. I don't have any funny ones of Vader:
Note the tounge sticking out of her mouth.....
After finishing her morning cup of coffee....er.....my morning cup of coffee......
I don't have any pics of myself and the kitties snuggling, but here's one of Dory and my niece, Rylee. So cute!
P.S. I posted this once already and it disappeared. If there's a reason for this can someone tell me? The entire post disappeared, not just the picture.
Vader got his name because he is black, and we love Star Wars (Darth Vader).
Dory got her name because we love Finding Nemo, and it was such a cute name and she's such a cute kitten. Her full name is actually Princess Dory, as the first name we picked was Princess, but we just call her Dory.
