I thought it was the fish with Quincy too, but then it started up again. I took all of the plants out of my house and that seemed to solve the problem. I thought it was starting up again once when I had him on one of those dehydrated mixes. He is eating the roasted Fresh Pet now & I mix canned...
Well, Quincy started eating the third night, but strangest thing, not his regular cat food. He wouldn't touch it. I changed his food, but left Oliver on the original. About a week later he decided the original was OK. Maybe you should call your vet. I always worry when the cats don't eat.
I took my cats into the vet on Friday, they both received FVRCP, Feline Leukemia & Rabies. Both were droopy Friday & into Saturday with decreased appetites. Oliver seemed to make a turn around by Saturday evening, but Quincy is still not himself. He seemed more affected from the start, & his...
There are some products & cat treats out there that can help calm you kitty. I found a natural calming treat helpful. You may want to talk to your vet about options, there are quite a few out there.
I adopted a 4 mth old kitten last November, Oliver came from a feral community & has a lot of issues. He's mostly afraid of people, to everything else he seems to adjust, over time, & I don't mean days.
When I first brought him home I didn't think he'd ever get out of the box. I followed the...
Definitely speak with the vet, she needs nourishment & to stay hydrated. I remember once when one of my cats wouldn't eat, they gave me some type of liquid nourishment for him. It was as broth that contained all the nutrients he needed. That was a long time ago & I don't remember what it was...
Its the fish! I believe Quincy is having an allergic reaction to fish. Poor kitty 128546 I narrowed it to fish & the plant, had to board him while out of town, so no fish & no plant for a week & his lip got better. Within the first 24 hours home it started coming back, the only thing he had...
It takes time, but you'll get there & one day you'll look back & be surprised at how far you have come. Its all worth it, just hang in there. Oliver, Quincy & I are rooting for you 128049
I had a very similar experience when I brought Oliver home 10 months ago. I was told he was verybshy, he came from a bad situation, he had been caught in a feral trap when he was very young. He was 4 months when I brought him home & I would classify him as terrified not shy. He started in the...
Isn't that the truth, its difficult to know where to draw the lines with him. Although I think working up all that courage wore him out, he's exhausted!
My shy little Oliver had a pretty big moment today. He is really small, shy & kind of scared of everything. I have had him for 10 months now & he has stuck to safe places, hasnt gotten on anything higher than the bed, except for his scratch tower & the window seals I have placed either short...
You have quite a group there, they are all so pretty. Its great they are all doing so well together. Its pretty neat watching animals adjust to situations
Thanks. Its great having them around. It se eee med so quiet after Sumba died, even though the dogs were there. Quincy and Oliver keep me entertained. Especially Quincy, he's a ham 128513
