Not sure if anyone mentioned it (I see FF CLASSICS had already been mentioned and you use it.) But Sheba (pate) is a good low cost food. I'm not sure how many carbs it has though.
As for my feeding schedule (I have 4 cats) I feed all four of them either half of a 5.5 ounce can in the morning...
Sheba has a beef entree. It's a good cheaper brand (I feed it, Friskies, and sometimes Fancy Feast CLASSICS.) I use to feed meow mix wet but it's to fishy. (All of their flavors are loaded with fish.)
At Walmart they sell a 24 pack of 3 ounce cans for right under $12. But that has different...
I am really sorry you are dealing with this. My mom has 9 cats. All girls and one boy all of which are fixed.
Out of the 8 girls (all spayed at the same vet, a VERY good vet at that) one has to be re-spayed. I'm not sure how hard it is because my mom hasn't took her back in it to do her spay...

My newest who was a stray I think would really enjoy it!

I switched to wet cat food after joining this site. I buy Friskies, Sheba, and Meow Mix. (All wet.) Feeding four cats (plus my other pets) isn't always easy on the budget. So I do buy the...
Chicken and chicken meal are the first two ingredients which is better than kit N kaboodle but for that price I would go to tractor supply, petco, ect. and get something with better ingredients for the same price.
You are right - Yellow stools from a cat means it went through the digestive system to fast.
What brands other than meow mix are you using? Have you tried giving him some canned pumpkin (not pie filler)?
You say this started about a week ago, did you switch his foods then?
Paul N Steve I switched my cats from all kibble to wet and they don't mind at all! They seem happier at feed time! :)
I left a little kibble in their dish the first week, then completely switched them over to wet. You could leave about 3-4 tablespoons (depending on how many cats you have) of...
