I use Miralax on Smiley, we tried all type of drugs & fiber on him for quite a few years nothing worked. Miralax did the trick just wish we had tried sooner, now we are dealing with health issues from the drugs. Fiber was the worst for him it would bind him up. Now he gets 1/4 tsp mix in water...

Thanks for the reply. His vet did put him on Cosequin twice daily, he really doesn't like anything added to his food, but I continue to add it hopefully he will start eating it.

I was using a bulk forming fiber (psyllium husk).  I will stop that for now.  Thanks again everyone...

Thanks, for the info.  I think I will pick up some Miralax just to have it and maybe try it on his food instead of having to force feed him the enulose.
