I know it doesn't matter, but from a students point of view I want to know. How in the heck did Snow have 1/2 her litter turn out pointed???? At best her and her Tom are both carriers. I know 100% who her Tom was because of the surrender situation. Snow is all white with just a dab of blue on...

    Early labor?

I have been having trouble getting questions answered in my other threads so I'll start a new one. My queen Snowbell is due at any moment. Is loose stools an early sign of labor? I have a gut feeling I need to be at the birth for her. Should I take this as a sign and stay up with her?

Does anyone know if there is a day(s) that a first time queen starts to get boobs??(for lack of better term.) My rescue queen is confusing me :) But today is the first day I noticed....more then just enlarged nipples. So I'm wondering if this is a "landmark " for first time queens??? I would...

    Another color question...

Someone told me that for kittens to have blue eyes BOTH parents must have blue eyes as well. This doesn't sound right to me, but I don't know. Any experts out there know the facts?

    Rescue Queen #2

Meet snowbell! She is about 6 months old and came to me in bad shape. She had a huge nasty mark on her neck from a Tom. It was infected and stinky. She was infested with fleas and ear mites. She had a bald spot and had been painted pink with greasy lip stick or something. It smelled good and was...

    Marking newborns

I have noticed breeders using different color collars on the new kittens. I have looked on Amazon but didn't find what I want. Anyone know what they use and where to order them? Or maybe someone has another creative way of "marking" kittens :) Thanks for any ideas an links!!
