No, she's been doing it forever. She's fine. And she does use the litter box sometimes, as I said, and in any case the box isn't working correctly right now so it's not even really running at the moment, we're planning on getting another one soon. I wouldn't switch the two boxes because my...
Both cats are fine with the box, and it only goes off once they're out of it. (And besides that, it's not exactly working right now. ^^) I do have another litter box in my room upstairs that isn't automatic.
Well I guess they get along, but they're not like, 'best friends,' they really just kind of ignore one another. It's the doggies (Except Phoebe of course) who are more interested in the rabbit, always prodding their noses into her fur and licking her long ears. We don't let our rabbit just roam...
I haven't tried that yet, but I'll ask my mom about it. We can't use that brand of litter right now because we have an automatic box that uses a certain litter. She doesn't really search for soft places to go, but if she sees something on the ground she'll walk over and pee on it. She's been...
Thank you for the welcome. They are a lovely group of furry family members. ^^ I hope to find that solution too. I'm about to go a try some stuff that's supposed to attract cats to the box, wonder if it'll help at all.
The litter box is a fair size, and our other cat (who is overgrown) uses it just fine. It is an automatic litter box, and my dad cleans it out. Putting two boxes there might work, but I doubt my parents would want to really do that since it'd cost more money that we don't have, and we don't have...
I usually wake up in the mornings (more so on the weekends) with my cat(s) curled up in between my legs or next to me, and when my female cat notices I'm awake she begins her meowing and purring, rubbing against my leg and arms, crouching on top of my stomach, etc. (Though with my male cat, who...
My cat Newton is an adult male, fixed. He's overgrown since he was fixed. He used to be a partially outdoor cat a few years ago before he got (I think) a urinary tract infection and we were told it's better to keep him inside. I had started taking him out on the patio with a leash and harness...
I don't have an answer for you, and my cat doesn't do this exactly, but often times when I'm in my room she'll walk in, stop in the doorway, stare into the room with wide eyes, and then dash off back out of the room and back down the stairs. My other cat doesn't do this.
I have two cats, one male and one female, both fixed. Pumpkin, my little female, is the sweetest little orange tabby cat, but she's always had problems with using the litter box downstairs. She's not old (maybe 4 years?) Pumpkin is also perfectly healthy. She's not overgrown, has no bladder...
Thanks for the welcome.
Pumpkin tends to just pee or poo right outside of the litter box. I'm sure she uses the box sometimes, but lately it's seemed to be more often outside of the litter box. She doesn't have any health or bladder problems, but she's been doing it for a while. My mom's...
I've got two cats, along with 4 dogs and a rabbit. All of them are fixed (Except maybe the rabbit, but we keep her inside in her own large cage.) All of my pets are also indoor animals.
Pumpkin is a female orange tabby, short-haired. She's definitely my cat.
Newton is a male brown tabby...
