murphy has been on the table too much ,he dose it to see the bird feeder(and sometimes other cats).I have told him no and pick up off the table many times ,he still dose it. What should I do?

HI I'm new to TCS .I just got a new cat about 2 weeks ago. He is doing great, but he did have an ear infection(he doesn't like ear drops very much). Murphy is 8-9 mouths old ,I got him from the APL(poor little guy was abandoned)
