Agreed that it is a weird, unhelpful choice for vomiting. Your kitty may have been very sensitive to the med. Tho 5mg is practically nothing-my Cat was on 200mg per day! That dose was ridiculous, because it caused her liver enzymes to skyrocket. They came down after stopping the meds.

Toronto prices depress me. For everything-not just animal care, lol. My vet price to get an ultrasound in Toronto is 700 with tax. Welcome to the big city! A spay at my Scarborough vet was around 200, I think. Neuter was a lot cheaper.
