Could you find a rescue or feral group in that area, or one in your area that could help if you brought them with you?
I don't have any experience with ferals, but I empathize with you. I would feel obligated to help too, but I wouldn't know what the best plan of action would be in this...
Yay! I hadn't followed your other thread but I went back and read it now, and wow! Congratulations on taking these babies this far. I really admire what you did for them, a less determined person might not have succeeded. Thank you for giving them a chance to live, you've done a wonderful job!
I really have to hand it to my DH for his tolerance. We have four cats, three 7 month-old kittens and their mom. I love them but they are wild when it's playtime! The kittens jump on, bounce off of and play with everything. Yesterday while I was at work the kittens played with the Christmas...
My favorite is fall, because it's a welcome reward for surviving the heat and humidity of summer and the colors are beautiful. Second favorite is winter, especially if we get snow! My area doesn't get much each winter.
I like a colorful tree at my house. Our beautiful tree has multi-colored LED lights. I have red, green and silver ornaments in various shapes & sizes from an ornament set, and some single keepsake ornaments and others I bought here and there. It makes me happy to see a beautiful, colorful...
I went to Kohl's for their midnight opening to snag this 5x7 area rug for $28.00. I've been wanting one but price always got in the way. My accent color in my living room is red and it looks great with my other decor. The cats approve of it but I'm hoping they don't scratch on it. They aren't...
I do my litter box washing outside because it's easiest. I live in a townhouse with a water spigot on the patio, but I like to wash with hot water so I carry my water out in gallon milk jugs. I dump litter, wash and refill outside because I don't want the litter and dust everywhere. I have 4...
I don't think your cat is behaving aggressively for no reason. Behavior this sudden and severe must have a physical cause behind it. If she isn't better after the tranquilizer wears off, please do call your vet. I would have them do a blood test and physical exam to see what is going on. It...
Your cats are being normal cats by scent-marking their territory. They will rub their heads, chins and bodies on lots of things, including human legs. I don't think there is any way to get them to stop, unless you are at home all the time to keep watch. I know these behaviors are...
I'm kind of surprised that a spay/neuter clinic wouldn't spay a cat regardless of heat. The clinic I've taken my cats to will spay cats and dogs in heat or when pregnant for an extra fee.
Maybe check at other clinics or your local humane society?
Hi everyone, I would like to ask everyone to send get well vibes to one of my 5 month-old kittens, Bo. His mom, sister or brother has bitten him on the leg and he had to see the vet today.
I noticed he was limping yesterday afternoon, but it looked like a hind leg was tender. I figured he...
Hi, I'm Susan and I'm a new poster with a question about my 4 cats.
I have a mom cat (Scarlett) and 3 of her 5-month old kittens, 1 female and 2 male kittens. They live with myself, husband and daughter. Mom has been spayed. The kittens are inseperable, and while there is some distance...
