Cute story or a multi-pawed cat helping to save an animal shelter. Kind of reminds me of the Barnum and Bailey freak shows of old drawing large paying crowds. This kitty knows how to raise money. http://main.aol.com/2011/12/09/daniel-cat-with-26-toes_n_1139095.html?1323450160?test=latestnews
I thought this was promising to see, so thought to share. It is testimonial about using vitamin D3 to help treat sibling cats Tommy & Marco for feline distemper.

Part of the story:
I recall seeing this post by low carb diet blogger Jimmy Moore. He typically writes about diets for humans, but saw he placed his overweight feline friend on a low carb “Catkins†diet recently. From the pictures taken, Muffin is looking pretty decently slim, or maybe better said slimmer...
Well, i wouldn't put it past the creative sales and marketing departments at the pharmaceutical firms to say that kitties need statins in order to control their cholesterol levels.
I've always thought of CoQ10 as being used for helping with the muscle pains that can come from taking a statin...
I was probably 10 years old. We lived in the country and I remember dad brought home a kitten. We named her Coochy. And she attracted a stray cat that we took in that we called Tiger. And he was a Tiger, a little less domesticated than the typical house cat. Great mouse hunter though.
I've already posted a few times in other threads, but thought best to introduce myself. We currently reside in the all to often chilly mid-west, but everything is to change soon. In late fall we'll be move to the sunny south. I can't wait! No more long cold winters.
I'm not sure what...
I couldn't believe the candy was on display this morning when I was at the store! It seems way to early for Halloween. I eat low carb, and I'm good at avoid the sweat stuff anymore. It keeps me thin and trim. Even though I have to admit, sometimes I can eat a little too much chocolate. Love...
My poor cat came down with fleas last year and he almost never goes outside! Figured someone must have brought them in on their shoes or cloths. Took forever to kill the little pests, and my cat was itching like crazy for awhile.
I saw this article on Dr Eades sight and thought, good question. Never thought of it, but makes since in a way. We're the only animals that have pets.
In the US there are more household pets than there are children. Did animals make us human?

We've had several cats in the family over the years, but the one I remember best was Rue. She was the cutest little lover! I originally adopted her from the humane society. I was still living at home at the time, and when it was time to find my own place, Rue had to stay, mom had grown to...
What helped my cat was changing his food. I began feeding him Hill's prescription food, and that made an improvement with his digestive system. He still has a problem though.
