Thanks I thought so myself. What about allerpet. It's a water based solution you massage into their fur once a week and it's supposed to cut down on dander.
Hate to bump an old thread but my girlfriend has COPD and I wanted to see if this might help with her allergies.
It's for sure the saliva as if she gives our cat a kiss on the nose her lips will flare up. But the main concern is the breathing. We have a good hepa filter which helps but I...
I know storing food in a can is not the best, but its fine for up to 7 days. Id prefer to cut down on as many dishes as possible and food in plastic containers is not good long term either if they are not thoroughly washed. Thanks for your input :)
Is it just me or do all cat food can lids suck? My cat is a fairly fussy eater, there is nothing he likes more then a fresh can of cat food, its moist and soft when you first open the can. But even after a night in the fridge, the texture changes, it gets hard and slightly dries out. I have...
Hes just fascinated by how Im fluttering the sticky note in front of him then all of a sudden it "lands" on the wall or door. Once he grabs it I then move it higher or to another location.
I feed my cat his wet in the morning, he has a routine of usually having a few bites, then going for a poop then he naps for about 2 hours then finishes it. Sometimes our wet can sit out on the ceramic dish for up to 5 hours and he has never got sick from it. Ive read that their stomaches pretty...

Thanks! I have not tried the finger brush, but it seems like a good idea, is it coated with toothpaste or do you apply it? Any good brands or products you can send a link to? The way I see it at this point there is no point in brushing but after this cleaning which I plan to do soon I will...
I have a 5 year old cat (Duffy) who has not had his teeth cleaned yet. I plan to this year but I wanted to ask if there are any tips to keep his breath down and oral health up.
I feed him 75% Wet (grain free wellness and Weruva) and 25% kibble (grain free orijen). He loves the fishy food...
Thanks both of you.
Yes hes a fairly lean cat and we always had the dry evo out, but he rarely ate it, hes not a big eater our vet last checkup said hes the perfect weight.
So right now where at 50g per meal so I think ill keep it there for now.
Also Ill look into rotating brands as well...
Well its been a week now, hes on raw, he was not a fan of the beef or venison all he seems to like is the Chicken and Salmon which has bone. Do you think that is OK? or should I really try to get him on some beef....remember it is commericaly prepared for cats.
A few questions:
1) Also one...
Stumbled across this old thread, my cats been transitioning to raw for 3 days now and hasnt pooped today was a bit worried as he used to poop twice a day.
I did read the thread and is there anyone who does actually give their kitty anything to help soften up their stool? I just dont want him...
Well this morning and evening he gobbled it up, I mixed it 50/50 with wellness wetfood and he didnt hesitate at all, im slowly going to mix less and less of the wet in with the raw.
One thing I have noticed, he hasnt pooped today, generally he would poop twice a day, any thoughts on that?
