Crystal animals; regretfully I'm partial to Baccarat's.
I also (I guess) collect opera recordings. I like to buy recordings
of lesser known operas by composers who are known for a handful
of operas, but wrote a lot more. (Many of them have never been recorded.)
I have somewhere in the...
Fear of dentists is very very common. You should tell the dentist how nervous you are. If he needs to do any work, ask him to make sure that he numbs the area even more than he needs to! A lot of them also use nitrous oxide (laughing gas) which clears your system as soon as you stop breathing...
Most of my favorite words seem to begin with 'p':
Peruse
Perplex
Paws
Pfui (Nero Wolfe's favorite 'curse word')
Phoebe
Purloined
I could go on. Go figure!
(I also like the word 'frustum', which is 3 dimensional trapezoid, like a pyramid with the pointed top lopped off.)
I dislike a lot of...
I would ask for a copy of the blood test, so you can see which enzymes were elevated, and by how much, but I wouldn't worry w/o more information. The GGT liver enzyme for example is elevated in many people and often is reactive to what you ate or drank the day before the test. My understanding...
As the others have said, keep the camera handy. Assuming that you have a digital camera, take a lot of photos, even of a similar shot!
When I see a potential photo-victim, I pretend that I'm ignoring the cats as I'm reaching for the camera. The other thing that I also try to do when I "frame"...
The older form of the Siamese breed does not have the 'wedgie' head which has become popular in recent years. They refer to them as 'apple-headed'; that's what Simba appears to be.
The Walmart photo is hilarious! Handsome boy!
Here are my 2 meezers, Razp(y)utin and Sasha. Sasha is a snowshoe, and Razpy is a 'reverse' meezer: chocolate brown with white toes in the front. (His littermate looked like a normal chocolate point!) Razpy had been home for abt 2 weeks in the first...
My Khan loves the 'ticker' which they run at the bottom of cable news show screens such as CNN. He sits and stares at it as it goes by, and sometimes swats at it. The others usually don't pay attention to the tv, unless it is a cat specific video.
Here is a link to some photos of them watching...
There's a group called the 'Mayor's Alliance' (I'm not sure if it actually has anything to do with the mayor's office however) which has become very active in sponsoring public pet adoption events. They have at least 6 more scheduled this year, in the major city parks as well as at the cat show...
She's very pretty. I hope that Franz is not put out for too long.
My Sasha has very clouded corneas from some problem before she was rescued. She seems able to see objects w/o problem, but I think it interferes with her depth perception since she takes a long time to evaluate any jump she makes.
I'm assuming that he went looking for the woman who he dated for three weeks? I haven't followed the show recently, but did watch the finale, and in the clips they showed, when he met her, she was already set to leave Seattle.
It's an Epson 1280. I don't refill the cartridges but buy a version made by carrotink.com for the model.. The original photo was printed at a res of 300. I did check the print head alignment, which appeared okay to me.
I'll have to rescan the printed photo. The version I attached was scanned &...
I have an Epson Photo Printer, which is printing horizontal black lines across my prints. [The printer heads are 'clean'] It usually occurs at the beginning or end of a printed page. I scanned in a copy of something I printed as an example. You should be able to see the lines on the left side of...
