Many cats have heart murmurs and do just fine. Also, there are a variety of types of murmurs and if she is just a kitten, it may be benign and not bother her at all.
I would ask for more info so you know exactly what you are dealing with. Ask for a copy of the records and a more thorough...
I like it too - it is not dramatic and she still looks like the Susan we all love. Or I like her anyway - so hopes she wins! And what is with this calling her a spintster! Ughhhhhhhhhhhh!!! Talk about sexist!
I would definitely have the vet check her out!! Some cats who are spayed after many cycles sometimes do this in a sort of psychological manner (with less noise) but there sounds like something may be wrong here. Maybe an ovary was left in or some organ that allows her to think she needs to be...
I too have heard of some animal control centers (often in rural ares but urban ones as well) were the waiting time is 72 hrs. Sometimes, it takes a family that long to call all the carious places! Or what if they go got a few hrs, come home and kitty manages to get outside or is an outside cat...
Oh God, I still nibble at my nails on occasion, lol (when I am stressed!) I never smoked though and I am not much of a drinker. I am however proud of the fact I have given up junk food - certain kinds like chips (I will still eat popcorn which I consider a gfood group, kidding) and and coca cola...
Awwwwwwwwwwwww, she is adorable and I am certain once she gets to know you and feels this is HER place, she will be fine. I do not know her story but if she went through truama, love and lots of food and time and petting and being with her will help! She looks soooooooo cute!

If you are in sciences, have you thought about vet school? There are differeing programs but it is a wonderful career!
You could volunteer at a Rescue or for a vet and they eventually might find you a paying job. That is how many people find work. While studying at vet school, I worked at the...
I would call around and see what the costs are - we did a survey among our own Vet Assn and discovered that what cost $400 in a more urban area was as low as $75 in a small rural place in the SAME state and we have rather good prices compared to others.
I guess I think like a vet now but try...
I had to add - did the vet do a full blood and other analysis workup? Check her anal glands as was asked? She could have some digestive issue.
Often it is nothing serious though anal glands can certainly cause an odor!!
I agree with all the responses - try to get her to adjust to one food though wet is best with some dry (tho for variety ; she still needs teeth cleaning, ie brushing). Maybe she had a bad reaction with one food - was ill or had to fight for it and associates some food with that experience. Cats...
If you live near a vet who makes house calls and it bleeds again, I would call her or him. But the main thing is to ensure it does get infected - especially with her being a baby! But I agree with the others. Probably being playful with her littermates - doubt mama would scratch her - mama cats...
