Hi all,
Well, last Friday we did it again. We adopted a little black and white kitten, a male this time. He is so cuddly and active. The other girls are slowly getting used to him. However...we're stumped on a name. We would like something that goes with Lucky and Charm. Any suggestions...
If anyone can help me locate a kitten rubberstamp by Delafield Rubber Stamp company (out of business for 5 years now) I would appreciate any info. Or, if one of you out there has it in your collection of rubber stamps and would be willing to sell it - please let me know.
Thank you so much!
Hello All,
Yesterday afternoon we took Kitty in to the vet to help her cross over the bridge. She was in so much pain, she just couldn't get comfortable anymore. I felt so torn - kept second guessing our decision, but our vet assured us that it was the right thing to do. Kitty wouldn't...
Hmmmm...lately Charm has been doing this strange thing. She'll lay right in the stray litter outside of the box. Then, to top it off, she'll roll around in it. Usually what I do is drag the vacuum cleaner out and get rid of it, but Charm digs in her litterbox with such gusto when she uses it...

Out of 157 cats removed from a south side Milwaukee home, only 42 kittens survive, animal control officials said Friday.
The rest...
Very early Sunday morning - I had been scooping the litterbox when I noticed that Lucky had missed it and there was blood in her stool. She's been acting as playful as ever and eating regularly, etc.
Today, (Monday) we took her in to the vet with a stool sample (which came back negative for...
If you need to move this to a previous thread - that's fine, I wasn't sure where to put it.
My question is: We've been using the feliway plug-in for several months now and I was wondering if now that all the cats are getting along fairly well if we should stop using it? Or if we decide to...
Hi Amy,
I hope I haven't missed you already. I haven't had much time at all to write in the past 2 weeks while you've been here.
Here is my inquiry:
We have a 17 year old cat, Kitty, who we love dearly. She currently has been diagnosed with CRF and we are giving her fluids on a regular...
Okay - it worked so well with Lucky that we thought it was the answer to all our introducing cats problems in the future. However, the little one, Charm, wants out so badly she's started climbing the screen door if we don't pay attention to her. (For those of you who might not know - we put up...
Guess what? A litter of kittens has been born behind our garage again (in the fishing boat). Well, I actually think this cat that gave birth could possibly be Lucky's sibling. I just remember that the kittens from last year were: tortoiseshell (Lucky), a black and white one (which we thought...
We have the screen door on Charm's room now, so today was the first day Kitty and Lucky have gotten to see Charm and vice-versa. Charm is so funny, she turns sideways and gets really fluffy. I know Kitty used to do that ages ago and Midnight (my very first cat) would do that from time to...
Okay, I realize Charm is just being a kitten with her biting our knees and toes while we're under the covers and she's on top of them. I knew to expect all this type of thing, but I'm wondering how I should be addressing the problem. Here's what I've been doing:
1) Said "no" in a firm, yet...
Hi all,
Well, first off let me say, I have taken Charm to the vet (Tuesday) and the vet told me that Charm most likely just has an upper respitory infection. We were also given Flagyl Suspension for her diarhea. We also were given Panacur for worms (even though the test came out negative) to...
Now the hardest part will be picking out a name. Kevin thought "Charm" might be cute - it goes with "Lucky" (one of our other cats in case some of you didn't know that). The new kitten looks similar to our oldest gal, Kitty.
I have a question:
Are torti's and calico's considered the same? The reason I'm asking is...Lucky (pictures in the Ferals threads) is a torti and our vet has it in their records that she's a Calico.
In general, don't calico's generally have more white markings on them with the...
I saw this on the WI Humane Society website in my area. It is very sad and really explains what these poor animals go through. Although it's about dogs, we all know cats go through the same thing, unfortunately. Anyhow...it really makes you think. I know I'm trying to figure out a way I can...
