Hey all,
I recently decided to start harness training our youngest cat Evil, as he really needs a good outlet for his energy and curiosity. I read a lot about it and found many horror stories of how cats dont take to harnesses well, and that is can be very difficult, but I still figured it was...
I've been through having a cat with multiple UTI's before, and this is only his second in almost 3 years, and both times have gone with stressful events. The first time was after he had to stay at the vets for a few days, and this time we figure was triggered by Pixel's death, so other then...
Sorry for the late update,
Evil is fine, turns out its just a UTI that seems to have snuck up on him. He's on antibiotics and acting much better already.
Well, the good news is I know that he isn't blocked now. He just peed in one of the cat beds in my room, crying the whole time. So I'm pretty sure its a UTI again, he was just really good at hiding it this time. So we will be to the vet in about 3.5 hours when they open.
I know no one likes the *I can't afford it* excuse, but Pixel's vet bills were very high because we had multiple visits, a very extensive surgery charge, then the cremation charge on top of that, and that was just over a month ago. Emergency vets around here charge 5x more then the regular vets...
He only just started acting odd around an hour ago though, before that he was completely normal, playing and such like he normally does. Also, although i haven't actualy seen him urinate, he hasn't been squatting in the box crying or doing anything like he did last time he had a UTI. I have him...
Hi everyone,
Seems this is my year for sick kitties...
Tonight my youngest kitty Evil (2 year old) started acting odd. He would start walking around crying then flop over on his side and start licking at his genital/anal area. He licks at it obsessively for a minute or two then goes off like...
Its very possible that she just ate too quickly and that is what caused her to throw up, since you said it looks like its just kibble. With that said, make sure to keep an eye on her to make sure she doesn't show any other signs of being ill, if she starts acting ill or vomits more, make sure to...
I think a visit to the vet is needed at this point. I just recently went through something quite like this with my cat, at first even the vet thought she was just constipated but it ended up being much more serious and she had to have surgery, which she sadly did not make it through, and as...
This one isn't as much odd sleeping position as it is odd place to sleep but here is evil hehe We know that the dashboard isn't the safest place to ride.. but he was happiest there soo we just made sure we drove realllyyy careful lol
And Pixel kitty
I never got to introduce my Evil kitty when i got him as I wasn't around the forum at the time, so I figure its better late then never!! Yes, Evil is his name, he was named after a character from a movie, but has quickly grown into his name as we now call him the *Evil Brat* He is never mean but...
