I'm so sorry to hear this, DJC, and I'm praying your kitty doesn't have cancer.
Like jenwales and Momofmany, I'd recommend the less invasive testing, the FNA. If it does turn out to be cancer, I agree with Momofmany that you should talk with your vet about the prognosis and how much any...

I'm so sorry you lost Emmy. But she'll be waiting for you at Rainbow Bridge, along with your other furangels. I agree with you completely that it wouldn't be heaven if our furbabies weren't there. And the evidence from NDEs (near death experiences) and ADCs (after...
This is the post about him on their Facebook page:

One of my support board members has been working with him since that photo was taken -- he was so scared then -- and he's just a sweetheart.
They can arrange transport within about 400...
Robin, I've posted the update for her, at her request, a few messages back. I hope she'll be able to connect better later tonight or tomorrow, to add more updates.
I'm worried, too. I've emailed her, haven't heard back. (Haven't heard from her for two days, since she sent me a note asking about chatting, and I didn't get that right away and she didn't log in to chat later.) I'll try emailing her again. I hope she's just busy, or having some minor...
I hope your cat is home by now, that he returned on his own or you were able to find him. The tips you've been given here are very good.
In case he's still missing, I want to give you a link to a web page with some more tips:

I was hoping to post these in the topic on this subject that AbbysMom posted, which is pinned to the top of the forum, but that's locked so I can't reply there.
AbbysMom linked to an excellent article, but the link in that article to the Humane Society page on getting help with vet expenses no...
Years ago I bought the old alfalfa-based Litter Green cat litter, which I thought was far and away the best cat litter available then. When they stopped making that I tried both clumping and clay litters, wasn't happy with either, and finally discovered that alfalfa-based rabbit food in pellet...
Hmm. That sounds more like roundworms.
If it is, then, as Stephanie said, a bit of feces could have been tracked into their home with no one noticing it, and the cat might have ingested it, either deliberately or while cleaning its feet.
I'm so sorry, Brittany. Sinus cancer in kitties is hard to treat, since it usually isn't diagnosed early enough because the symptoms aren't noticeable till the cancer has progressed to the later stages. You made the right decision, the kindest decision, to end Poppie's suffering. I'm sure...
Dusty's Mom, what type of worm does the kitty have?
A single flea, if it gets indoors and is ingested by the cat, might be able to give it tapeworm. And even a small bit of raw meat or raw fish might give a cat worms.
Thanks for the replies!
And Gary, thanks for posting those pics of your beautiful cats! What Sophie is doing there looks sooooooooo familiar!
Love hearing about what the other kitties do, too.
I don't have any pics of Rusty drinking from his paw, but found some old ones of when he started...
