We changed them. Bella was called "Tigger Cat"...I thought she deserved a better name, so we gave her one.
Stanley was called "Romeo" which, while fitting, wasn't my taste (he didn't seem to know it was his name anyway).
Barney was named "Miracle"...yuck...the only thing miraculous about him...
We do "time outs" but it's more about re-directing their attention. I find that 10-15 minutes alone (in a room with a window and litterbox) is enough to get Barney's mind on other stuff and he usually finds something else to do when he gets out.
I agree that usually what is deemed "acting out"...
I was going to say that. In my house the covered boxes seem to be "the place to poop" ...thus they hold on to the smell and need to be cleaned more often.
It's a trade off for not having litter kicked over the back of the box and on to the floor.

I would then meet with her outside of your home and not talk about cats. If...
I have older hardwood floors and the cats have made no discernable marks. They do stay mostly on the area rugs, but from time to time someone will slide into the room or do a skid maneuver while chasing da bird or the laser pointer.
We clip the front claws regularly, sometimes the back claws...
They are drop dead cute
Stick to your guns...they look adoptable, but there is a lot of important "social lessons" that they learn from mom & siblings during those last few weeks. It will make them far better pets in the long run if you let them finish their lessions
All three sleep in our bed although not at the same time. Typically Stan is waiting for me to get in bed and he snuggles right up. Bella will tuck herself into a ball at the foot of the bed. When I go to sleep Barney is usually on the floor in the doorway, but when I wake up he is usually...
