Long time no see
Reeses had her last vet visit last month and we were told that she gained a pound from last year and is up around 12lbs or so. We're very surprised at this given that we only fed her 1/2 a cup per day of Purina Indoor Cat Dry, and she is fairly active. The feeding amount was...
I don't know how many of you saw the thread about posted about the sudden passing of my Aunt. She passed away on Wednesday at the age of 49, leaving behind two 17 year old twin girls and a 19 year old son. Today was her funeral, and along with the strengthened bond that my family now has...
I'm in shock... I just got a call from my mother in tears. Apparently my Aunt, who I haven't seen in a few years, was found dead in her bed this morning. She was found by her son. It's too soon to know what happened, but I guess she had been sick or not feeling well for a few days or something...
Here is Reeses lounging under the computer.
and here's a short video...don't you just love meow yawns? (turn up volume to hear the meow)

Proof that cats will lay anywhere just because they can. I can never figure out how she gets up against the wall like that, or how she usually rights herself and gets down. Right after I took the last picture I went over and petted her and she went to go bat my hand, forgot she was on the edge...
Here's a site I found a few weeks ago:
http://www.rinkworks.com/dialect/
Input a web address (this forum is a good place to start!) or some text, and choose your dialect that you want it converted to. Redneck, Jive, Cockney, Elmer Fudd, Swedish Chef, Moron, Pig Latin, and Hacker.
Lately Reeses has this habit of following me into the bathroom. Because of health reasons it's a common day to day stop for me and alot of times, she'll know (or atleast think) that's where I'm headed, run past me and beat me to it. She doesn't do it to my wife, only me, and nothing I do can get...
The old saying goes that you can pick your friends, but you can't pick your family. Well they should add neighbor's to that too....well technically you CAN by choosing not to live next to them, but most of the time we don't know until it's too late.
For the most part I have great neighbors...
My wife and I are going away to the beach the 30th and 31st, so naturally we have to leave Reeses alone for that time. We'd be leaving between 12-1 the 30th, so we'd feed her before we leave and make sure she has enough to last her until the next morning. Then my mother in-law is coming the next...
I feel bad for Reeses. I think I posted before how she gets scared really easily and if there is even a strange person outside, she'll run and hide. Well this week we had alot of work done at the house. I had an irrigation system put in, my driveway redone (which is still going on) and had a...
I was trying to fill out a "Career Assessment" thingy that I had to do for an appointment I had, and was sitting at the kitchen table. As with most cats, Reeses felt she had to put a stop to this, so of course she jumps up on the kitchen table and sits smack dab on the workbook. I say "EXCUSE...
We have the Landscaper here this morning doing our spring cleanup and with the sound of weedwackers, mowers, leaf blowers etc.. and of course strange people outside the windows, Reeses has been hiding all morning (under the covers, her favorite hiding spot in the last few months). She's only...
Reeses likes playing with my wife's necklace if she leaves it out. She doesn't want to forget it if she puts it away in a jewelry box, so usually what she does is she lays out her clothes for the next morning, folds them, and puts the necklace in between. Well yesterday morning apparently it...
I was sitting in here a few minutes ago and all of a sudden I hear this blood curdling yell/screech/meow from Reeses in the other room. You know, the kind that a cat would make if it were really hurt or in a fight. She did it a few times and I ran to find out what the heck the problem was. I...
I wrote an article about my experiences over the last few months with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. I wrote it for my disabled drummer website, so it contains a few disability and drumming references in it, but not much. It is more about how it all started for me and how I've been dealing with it. I...
I'm at the point now where if I order anything online and the company, store, or person uses DHL, I'm passing.
I was supposed to get a package yesterday that wasn't delivered for an unknown reason. I was given a lame excuse about my house being so far away from the local facility that they...
It seems like every year I have trouble with this computer. I fix it and then it's good for another year.
This year it's a booting problem. For some reason when I turn on the computer, the hard drive spins for about 3 minutes and the computer hangs at the initial startup screen (in my instance...
I just heard on the news that Sanjaya is considering trying to get into the Berkley School of Music in Boston here in MA.
Thankfully, he would have to go through an admissions audition. Based on what we saw on AI, I don't think he'd stand a chance in getting in
