I'm going to Wisconsin at the end of this month!
Nice to know what I have waiting for me...
I just went outside with wet hair...I was only out there for about three seconds but strands of hair literally froze into ice strands!!
Ok, so...
I took Peanuts to the vet. He asked me a whole bucket of questions. Everything's right with her physically (temperature, her tummy, etc.) so, yeah, he was wondering if there's something wrong with her mentally. He didn't want to give her tranquilizer because he didn't want to just...
Thanks for the encouragement
If she's not back to normal soon, I'm eather going to force myself upon the vet or find a new one.
Thanks! I found SPOT (stop pet overpopulation today). They're going to have a $10 spany clinic At the beginning of March. I can either wait for that (which I don't...
Ok, so I called the vet and had a long chat with the office. I told them what was going on with the weird behavior and all and they said that as long as Peanuts is still eating/pooping fine (which she is) then they don't think it's intestinal. They pretty much told me to keep an eye on her and...
Alright, just letting you all know, I'm going to be taking Peanuts to the vet tomorrow. I wonder if it IS a physical problem--I've realized that every time I pick her up or toutch her tummy, that's when she gets upset.
I hope my kitty's ok.
Huh. This is kinda like what's going on with my kitties right now...they used to be friends, and now the older one's beating up on the younger one for no apparent reason.
Hope your kitties stop fighting, keep updating on how they're doing
Yeah, the vet told me that Hartz is bad. I'm sorry that that happened to you.
Apparently Adams plus, the brand I used, has some of the same stuff in it.
what symptons did your kitty have?
I'm sorry. I don't know how to explain to you that there was SPOT (stop pet overpopulation today- the cheap spay/neuter place in my area) clinic where they were handing out info about $10 spaying for the upcoming weekend but NO ONE WOULD TAKE ME. It was very frustrating...but whatever. I'm...
Peanuts has not been to the vet since the visit a few weeks ago, no. He just told us that it would clear up and he wouldn't need to see them again unless the problems intensified. : (
I'm really beginning to think now that I should take her...it will be interesting taking this to the ones in...
I havn't been on TCS forums for so long, but I'm having cat problems and I thought of you all.
First of all, I have a 3 1/2 year old female unspayed (please don't yell at me for this--so many times have I attempted to get her spayed) cat. She was feral when she was a kitten and we took her...
hmm...i don't know, i though of that. i don't know of one in my immediate area...i will check though. there are also a couple of people i know who are definately interested. yay!
most people i know though have a horrible view on cats. it drives me crazy.
they're all play fighting on the floor...
ok, quick update, they are doing much better!!!
Their names are Peter, Piper, and Panther. all "P" names because...well...it's kind of tradition.
Peter and Piper (btw, it's Piper shown in the horrible pics above) are tame. they are doing really, really good! Peter likes to be snuggled and...
ok, yeah, i defihnatley will move them.
right now i am cleaning out the crate and they were a little better about coming out...atill as loud, but not as scratchy.
they are so LOUD! it's been about two hourse by now and anytime i'm in the same room as them they growl. it's kinda of like a moan, actually. i turned off the light in the room and corevered the crate with a blanket. '
i'm going to be gone for like 1 1/2 days, so i feel horrible that i can't get...
yeah, about the shelter thing, that's kinda what i was worried about. that's so sad...
i will try and convince my dear father that we should put the cats in the bathroom. Peanuts has been nosing around trying to get into the room they're in now *rolls eyes*
now, at least, i can get a little...
hi all, havn't been on here in ages but found another litter of ferals and need advice so i thought of you all.
there are many stray and feral cats in my neighborhood and they reproduce...quickly. my dad and i usually get out and can catch the babies when they're between 8-10 weeks old, so they...
