The kittens are 3 1/2 weeks old now - is it too early to put some kind of "collar" on them? I have a dear neighbor who is sooo excited about her
new "baby" that she went out and purchased a small collar, that I had to
remove because it was too big...I myself have not even looked at the stores...
They are too much fun to have - I am enjoying every moment with them!
Their colors are all different - there is a tortey, 2 greys - although one is becoming more of a dilute tortey and one a dilute tabby (their markings are not that prominent), the other two are only slightly different in their...
The 'kids' are growing up quickly! How time flies!
Although they are still confined to the bathroom, I go in daily for playtime,
letting them strengthen their little legs and poking around, discovering
new things...
This video goes for about 2min - sorry, but I had to keep filming them!!
Sammi...
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this very hard time. You are a wonderful person to help so many of us - praying that we can only return the kindness.
That is TOO funny - I played the video for my hubby last night, Sammi came RUNNING in, jumped on my lap and had her face in the monitor!! - Guess she thought the computer ate her babies!!! - I had to carry her back to them to prove that they were ok!!!!
Good Mommy!!
They are sooo precious!! My babies turned 2 weeks yesterday as well - and the littlest one still doesnt have her eyes open all the way either!!
I can hardly wait until playtime starts (I know, be careful what you wish for)
Good luck with all of them !!!!
I had to revert to the bathroom - is there one you can put them all in? I am lucky to have a big house with 3, so for now the kittens and Sammi are in one of them. Everyone has adapted and Sammi has stopped trying to "relocate".
Good luck.
Sounds like the problem I am having here with Sammi - I put her and the 5 kittens and all there "stuff" (box, litter box, food dishes, water and milk bowls) in the bathroom and now they are confined to a safe area where I know that at least they can't get out!!
Good luck!! It's so scary when mom...
Thanks for all the suggestions - at 3:30 this a.m. one of the kits went "exploring" and the incessant crying was driving me nuts!! - I reverted back to the "bathroom" idea, packed everything up and they are now one big happy family staked out in the "loo" - I went in there at 6am to feed Sammi...
OK - just as I thought, when I went back in she had taken one of them out, so down came the cardboard and out came the boxes and she wins.
It's too late right now, but guess I'll be vacuuming under there tomorrow.
Sheesh.
The other four are still in their box with a hot water bottle - sleeping...
Sammi - the #1 candidate for Mother of the Year, has become the cat from he**!!
Maybe that's a bit extreme - but she's driving me NUTS!! All babies are fine, fat and laid back - mom wants them relocated to under my bed - I have plastic boxes and cardboard and duct tape, and thought I had it...
It started at 1:30 this a.m. - the kitten nest is right next to my bed - and I heard the constant baby crying - I'm a light sleeper anyway, waited for about 6 continuous cries, then put the light on to check on everyone - The 'runt' (which is now the 'pig') had backed its way out of the box and...
Sarah, (I have a daughter Sarah)...anyways, your story is a repeat of mine - Sammi is petite and young, and...well it all happened when the door to the great outdoors opened and...
If you go back and look through my posts, Sammi gave birth to 5 healthy babies last Thurs - all are doing...
