Buddie wakes me up every morning at 4 AM to feed him. He kneads whatever body part that is sticking out from the covers. At first he is real gentle, but the longer it takes to wake me up the deeper the claws go in.
I love Alton Brown in "Good Eats". Also like Barefooted Contessa, Emeril, Unwrapped, and Best Of. I don't get what the deal is with Iron Chef and beside most of the food they cook is just plain gross.
<<You should also approach your local public health officials about oral rabies vaccine programs. They have been very effective where they have been consistently applied.>>
How does that work? Would they give me the oral rabies vaccine to give to the cats or do they come out and do it...
Hi everyone and thanks for replying.
I will try to get all of my ferals up to date on thier rabies shots. I have 4 ferals that I trapped 5 years ago when I had them sprayed /neutered and I don't know if I can re-trap them. Brandon is kinda tamed so I may be able to get him in a carrier and I...
I read in our local paper today that there were two rabid foxes found 3 miles from my house. They are telling people not to leave their pets food outside because it attracts wild animals and the police and animal control are riding around picking up any lose cats or dogs they see.

Thanks, everyone for your replies. So far there's no sign of infection but I'll give my doctor a call tomorrow and see what he says. I really do need to get a tetnus shot if nothing else.
HI Carper and Katie,
Thanks for the list of low cost clinics. I didn't know there were so many around. I saw the kitten again this morning and I'm starting to think that he may be the only surviv al of the litter. He looks like he's 8 to 10 weeks old so it shouldn't be that hard to trap him and...
Muffin has an UTI and when I gave her some ClavaMox tonight, she bit me in the arm and wrist. I washed the wounds with soapy hot water and poured some peroxide on them. I don't know what else to do, so I just have to wait and hope the wounds don't get infective. I've never been bitten before...
When I fed my ferals tonight, Wilbur, had one of his I mean her kittens with her. This is the first kitten I've seen in over 5 years only because I have never been able to trap Wilbur to get him/her fixed. The kitten is cute, solid gray, but it just breakes my heart. I can't even afford the vet...
Someone in another cat forum said that Tuxedo Cats are a breed of cats. I don't know much about cat breeding but I find that hard to believe. Am I right?
