It is regarding how much of the feline population is pedigreed.
Off back under the covers, I am sick.
I posted this in SOS forum, but the more the word can be spread the better.

This has been announced on one of our Ragdoll lists, and permission has been given to crosspost. This is so important for the Ragdoll breeders.Hi Everyone,
We are happy to announce that Dr Meurs has found and identified a mutation that causes HCM in Ragdolls. We can now begin testing for...
We would like to introduce you to our newest addition to our family. Her name is Serafina, and she is a seal bicolor, her first show will be in July, we thought about showing her at the upcoming June show, but we wanted her to get used to her home, before taking her out. Funny, enough she has...
Today was Koda's first show, he is a few days over 6 months of age. It is a 12 ring show, so 6 rings today and 6 rings tomorrow. My husband took him for me, and this is CJ's first time to show all on his own. They both made me proud. Koda's awards were 1st BOC in each ring, he got 1st BOD in...
This is an issue that Sol, mentioned in another thread, and I thought the importance of this issue should be spoke about.
I have noticed, either, breeders don't do blood typing, OR they don't mention it. It is an only an issue that I, myself have become more aware of, and begun blood typing...
To the breeders,
When I first heard about the recall, I sent out an email to all of our pet owners, as not everyone would have heard as quickly as others. Most responded with good news, no ill effects have been seen.
Although today, we did get a call, from a woman who was feeding the packets...
Our Ti Ti was 2 years old before he figured things out, but his baby boy, Koda Bear is 4 months old, and he has already figured out a few things, and I could see him trying to get his groove on within the next few weeks!! My baby boy is growing up.
I know with our Ragdolls females, at least, I...
This is Familytimerags Koda Bear, he is from our recent breedings, and is staying with us, to be shown and hopefully become a breeder for us, depending on how well he does. He is a love bug, and decided while Meowmy was on her favorite cat site, that he would like to pose as The Cat Site's...
Hello all,
I had a woman contact me today, a first time breeder, she wrote me a long email about an awful situation she had got herself into with another breeder, who went out of business, as she was buying an adult cat with breeding rights.
My question that I couldn't answer for her was...
I hope this is posted in the correct area of the forums, if not please move, and to those on different cat areas, permission has been given to crosspost, and the more people are informed, the better for the Persians and Siamese.
So sad. Thank you.
I have just been informed about an URGENT...
I bred an experienced queen on August 21-22nd, they mated a total of 6 times, each one ending in a fierce yell and rolling. We did try to mate them again on the 23rd, but queen was unreceptive and no longer having heat symptoms. Yesterday, the 25th, she began calling again, and showing full...

What is your cattery name, and why did you choose it?
The cattery name I chose was actually our second choice, at first we wanted our theme around the movie "The Aristocats".
The name we did choose, pretty much fits us perfectly. We all help out with the cats and kittens as a family.
I thought...
Hi all,
I have decided that I would like to begin a list of vets who early alter kittens. Once I have received a few, which I don't feel will take too long, I am going to make a site dedicated to early altering and helping breeders or rescues to find vets in their area who will perform...
My mentor sent this to me tonight. A link that helps with pattern and color predictions. Once you have clicked on the link, the menu on the left will have a link to "Pattern and Colour Predictions". It is very detailed.
