Spooked By Random Objects - Unsure Where To Go From Here

I have the same problem at the moment! Just got home after spending the night at my dad's house, and my cat is super spooked by something. She usually greets me at the door (especially when she hasn't had something to eat yet!) But as soon as I got home she ran into my mum's room and hid in her...

Cat Has Started Bolting Out The Back Door

Wow this is some great advice!!! I have tried clapping loudly when he used to scratch at the back door or meow (which seems to have stopped the scratching at least). I'll get my mum and aunt to adopt some of these methods, like the stomping and making sure to look at my cat while going out the...

Cat Has Started Bolting Out The Back Door

It's your favourite cat novice back again! This is kind of a follow up from this post. My cat is usually an angel but her behaviour has been out of control since I took her outside a couple of times. Now she has taken to not only meowing loudly for extended periods, but she has started bolting...

Cat Obsessively Cries And Scratches At Door.

Thanks for the advice! I have only had my cat for a little over a year and she is my first pet, so there is a lot of learning going on :(

Cat Obsessively Cries And Scratches At Door.

Do you think an enclosure connected to the house would be a good compromise? That way she can come and go as she pleases while still being in a safe space?

Cat Obsessively Cries And Scratches At Door.

Recently I decided to try and take my cat outside using a hardness. It has been great so far! She is still a little awkward with the harness but once she gets used to the feeling she has a good wonder around the backyard. There is only one problem: once I bring her back inside she won't stop...

Does your cat let you touch their - paws, tail, belly? Do they mind being held...

I'm a first time cat owner so I didn't know what to expect from my Jiji. She LOVES to have her belly rubbed! She will flop on the floor in front of me just for a belly scratch. She isn't too fond of me touching her paws but she has never lashed out at me over it either.

My cat won't let me sleep!

That might work! I would love to give her a smaller meal in the middle of the day but I can't when I work :( might have to get an automatic feeder.

My cat won't let me sleep!

Thanks for the ideas! She is my first pet so I'm kind of out of my depth at times. I tend to feed her at 5:30pm so maybe it's a bit early. I'm a bit worried about changing her routine so I might push it back little by little.

My cat won't let me sleep!

Last year in July I adopted the most adorable, affectionate 2 year old grey Tabby. She loves to cuddle, be kissed on her head and get pets on her tummy. Usually at bed time, she will roam around the house and then eventually sleep on either my bed or my mums, snuggling up to my legs. However...
