It helped my cat. He didn't have any fleas the whole time he was on it, and my dog didn't have any ticks. 

I agree with Kat Knapper. You do not want to take your chances. Please keep us posted. BTW, newborn, neonatal kittens need to eat every 3 hrs, I believe. An they need milk replacement and sometimes won't drink from the bottle. A vet/rescue can get the baby to eat and hydrate properly. Sometimes...
