Thanks, I did call them yesterday and told them the other was having issues. No real answer from them other than "its probably the grass".
I am not sure happy with them anyways since they charged me $95 to do a fecal test for parasites and giardia.
I did replace the bag of dry in case it was a...
One of my cats, Emmett, had been having loose stool off and on this month. He has have a few incidences of diarrhea and vomiting as well. The vet checked for parasites and he came up clean. My other cat, Zoe, suddenly had diarrhea and vomited today.
I tried giving Emmet the Applaws Chicken...
My cat was tested and is highly allergic to flax, milk , and soy. I already avoid soy, and never give the cats milk. Flax is in a ton of "good" foods - both canned and dry. He eats the Simply Nourish canned stews but all the cats eat the Simply Nourish dry - which has flax. As does Halo and...
The cats aren't picky, I am :lol3: I have one cat who is sensitive to rosemary extract which eliminates many brands.
I am just wondering if having 4+ "better" grains is just as bad as having corn.
I do feed wet too, often have the same issue with that having peas, carrots, potatoes, etc. not...
I have been avoiding corn and wheat and soy in our cat foods. However, I am beginning to wonder if the sweet potatoes, potatoes, peas, cranberries, oatmeal, barley in the more natural brands aren't just troublesome. It seems like there are even more non-protien items in these.
I have used...
My cats get canned and dry food. One has just started throwing up with the dry (Purina Pro Plan Naturals) and I was thinking of doing a grain free dry.
Here's the ones I was looking at:
EVO Turkey & Chicken
Taste of the Wild
Fromm Grain Free Surf and Turf
My 1 1/2 male cat eats canned food in the AM. He is eating Tiki Cat chicken varieties. They are a bit pricey and I'd like to get something a little less expensive. I like that they are just meat, no grain or veggies.
I have always thought that Fancy Feast, Friskies and such were really bad...
What is worse in dry cat foods:
Ground corn
Corn gluten meal
Wheat flour
Wheat gluten
I know they are all not great, but I know that my cat doesn't digest peas well which eliminates many natural brands.
Thanks for the info, I will have to check out the Diamond.
Peas give the cats gas so I want to avoid this. Potatoes aren't all that digestible (or so I have read) but i guess they are ok if there isn't much. I think the one may be sensitive to wheat (more throwing up on food with wheat).
I...
Any rec's for a dry cat food without fruits/veggies, peas, potatoes? The grain free thing doesn't work for my kitties. SD and RC won't work since they have rosemary extract as a preservative.
My cat seems to be sensitive to this. It is the one thing that is common among several dry foods I have given her. It seems to bring on skin rippling and/or diarrhea.
