Im Desperate Now ... Help (cat Really Gone Crazy)

You said he goes outside, are there other or new cats in the area? This could be redirected aggression if he's scared of something outside. Could he have fallen off something as it seems to be moving him when he's asleep sets him off. Good luck finding a new vet and get him a health check...

    Quite Cat Starts Meowing

Do you talk back? Or is it just making a racket? Can you ask your vet, has anything else changed?

When Should I Start Worrying About A Limp?

He's not spraying (but he has taken to to the corner of the sofa) and I don't have any visitors until September so I have a few months to get him fixed. It's only 70€ but my job contract ends next month and the second job I've recently picked up might not be as well paid so I have to be careful...

Putting Weight On A Rescue Cat?

Hello, I've just been in a similar situation with a rescue, don't worry it will take longer than a week, it was nearly three weeks before my bag of bones was close to normal weight and he spent that time resting 23.9 hours a day. Just keep on doing what you're doing and she'll be fine She's...

When Should I Start Worrying About A Limp?

Hello everyone. I thought I'd give you an update. Thomas is doing well, he's a normal weight now and eats when he's hungry. He still has the limp but it's much improved and only worsens when he's been curled up in some bizarre pretzel formation for some time. I did see him up on the bloody...

When Should I Start Worrying About A Limp?

@duckpond He just said to keep an eye on it in case it gets worse. He knows I'll bring him back if it does. @Mamanyt1953 He's an absolute darling, 3 years old unneutered and not chipped. Poor thing's likely abandoned. That's what I thought. He doesn't have any chips on his ears and is...

Daft Cats Don't Like Moved Catflap

What's the visibility like? They might be a bit freaked out that they can't see what's on the other side. Or they could just be a pair of daft buggers.

    "premium" Food Vs "economy" Food

I really like Applaws and Instinct High Meat dry foods. My cats are quite small he especially (<-the black one) is an absolute gannet for whom just looking at a grain causes a kilo of weight gain and the worst smelling poo. The relatively small amount of veg is acceptable. Since the only Sheba...

When Should I Start Worrying About A Limp?

This is Thomas, he was abandoned and found his way to my road and I've taken him in. He was a bag of bones but otherwise doesn't have a scratch on him apart from limping on his front left leg. I took him to the vet for a check up and he said he was healthy, it was probably a fracture and...

Ready To Murder/suicide Me And My Cat.

See if the vet recommends a calorie/nutritional paste. I've just used some to help an abandoned bag of bones put on weight. It might help temporarily while you try the other options in the thread.

    Feliway for meowing

Give it a bit longer then, she's most likely settling in, but could just be very vocal. When mine and the new foster who likes a good meow are shouting around the flat and annoyed "What?!" tends to get them to pipe down for a bit. But they're not meowing for attention. Keep ignoring it too...

    Feliway for meowing

I've used feliway and it made absolutely no difference to my shouty cat. He just likes making a racket. She could be just be getting used to your home as you said, or she may be a little bored or lonely. Does she have enough stimulation? Was she with family or friends before?

    Newly adopted cat: adjustment issues

You're doing really well. Do you meow/talk back? Some cats want attention whilst others just like to test the acoustics. Blinking is a great sign, make sure you blink slowly back at him. It means you're not a threat. Can we have a photo, please?

Meet Hana (or Hanna, I haven't seen it written down)

Great news, she wasn't getting on with my cats so moved to a new foster home where she could be the queen and promptly got adopted. She's a fantastic cat and will be a wonderful pet for them.

    Let's see your hair! :)

@Norachan @foxxycat @Denice Look at the German brands, I use Lavera and Benecos which are natural, organic, cruelty free and a fair bit is vegan too. There are plenty of other brands but these too are cheaper. I get my bits from Beauty Centre Europe Nora what a wonderful colour and @Artiemom...
