    Hairball, Teeth and more

(UK) First time having a cat. My cat was spayed but we were told there was no blood tests as she looked healthy and was young. I have been struggling a lot with the correct diet and brands and with the fact that she is long hair and sheds a lot. Today she threw up a massive hairball as she's...

    Vaginal problems?

Thanks. I phoned the vet and we have actually delayed the visit. They told me if she is doing ok with wet food, continue it, and also wanted to give me anti septic liquid and I mentioned I have povidone idiodne (apparently it's not sold in UK) so now I have to mix that with saline and use cotton...

Ah. It seems like idk the human terms either 😆. But yeah it's like a very thin crack not on the anus but the other one. But hopefully there's no problems. If there is maybe this is better than cystitis maybe she scratch it somewhere Thanks for the urine test explanation. It seemed so scary in...

    Vaginal problems?

Also the vet said they might do a urine test. I wondered how they'd make her pee so I googled and now I'm freaking out. Will they really put a needle in her side?

    Vaginal problems?

Hi. Sorry I don't know if the terms are different from humans. I have a 1 year old female spayed cat. She has problems with dry food. (Only 1 brand. I haven't got to try other brands). When she eats dry food, she meows in the litter. I've checked all the time and she does pass pee. But she...

    Avian flu and cats

Hi. There appears to be a big increase in avian flu in London and my cat isn't outdoors but we take her outside with a leash. We have a garden and some grass and I was thinking of this is fine? She likes to sniff everything and roll around. There are wild birds like pigeons and some small birds...

    Good supplementations? And everything

Hi yes she was spayed. I've bought a harness but if I take that thing out she will go into hiding for hours under the bed. I took her out a few times honestly she looked to be enjoying it when she is out but the process of putting the harness on and going out through the door is hard. She...

    Good supplementations? And everything

Thank you so much for the reply. I am really thinking of getting another one but delayed it due to costs going up. I think about it so much that she has no other cat friend to play with.

    Good supplementations? And everything

My cat is 9 months old now (first time having a cat) and ever since I got her, I am been under constant stress to clean, tidy and pick up risky things. But when we sleep, well actually we don't... she keeps going on top of the tablet, then the drawer and pretty much going up straight walls. She...

    Cat spits on bed sheets

She stopped licking me long ago about when she was 5, 6 months (it basically fully stopped after spaying) now she licks a blanket I've left only for her but she also goes for other blankets. It's just weird that recently she also does it to sheets and that past few times I've seen this. This...

    Cat spits on bed sheets

No she is generally well. Yesterday I gave her a dentallife treats and she ate it too fast and I saw her struggle for a sec. Then she went and drank lots of water. This is the only thing not normal I can't think of.

    Cat spits on bed sheets

Thank you so much for the reply. I think she directly licks them. But the amount of wetness on the sheets is so visible and also smells like saliva. I sadly keep missing it. She usually doesn't even go on the bed but i will try my best to see what exactly happens

    Cat spits on bed sheets

Hi. My cat is 7 months old and I've had her since she was 9 weeks. I know she likes blankets and kneads on them or even licks them. But I've noticed now is she spits on the bed sheets and makes them very wet. I was wondering if this behaviour is normal? I will attach a picture

    Skin sore under neck

I was petting my 7 month old kitten under the neck she usually enjoys it. I felt something, thought its a flea, tick. I put the fur aside, I saw that there's a tiny sore and dried skin. I will attach a picture. The kitten doesn't seem to have any skin condition that I'd know of. I had her since...

Cat paws at food, very confused at water

Ah yeah then it could be I guess because she doesn't seem to do it to dry food as much (or doesn't at all). She general also prefers the dry food but also she runs away from another else other than felix wet food.
