I have a kitten with this spot on the back of his leg. Is it ring worm? Or possibly a hot spot?

Does it decrease their life span since they all have it? I feel so responsible… one of the cats I already have has had history of crystals. Will that affect him? Would you rehome the kittens so the others don’t get it or is it common?
