    Cat fur not growing back!

Thanks for the replies! The spot isn’t bothering her at all. I emailed the shelter we got her from and they said that as long as she isn’t bothered by it we should be good. I was just wondering if anyone knows how long it takes to grow back.

    Cat fur not growing back!

Hi! I have two kittens Koda and Jack. When I got them they were both diagnosed with ringworm. I took them to the vet and Koda was prescribed itrafungol as a oral medication and both of the kitties are on a anti-fungal cream. Over the past 4 weeks, they have gotten so much better. Koda had a...

White spot's / discolouration on outer left ear - Ringworm?

That looks very much like ringworm! When I adopted my kittens, they both had ringworm and one had a spot similar to that. Be careful with a black light, some ringworm strains will not show up and some non-ringworm things will show up. Has she had any other hair loss? Has the spots been getting...

    Cat safe plant?

Hi! The only plant that I know for certain is the spider plant. I have one on my shelf and my cats enjoy playing and sometimes chewing on it (they aren’t swallowing it) and they have been fine. Not to mention the spider plant is super easy to take care of!

Slight problem taking cat to vet

Hi! Can you lure her into her carrier with treats? Then as soon as she gets in you can close the carrier door. Hope this helps!

Suki peeing on covers and careting

Hi! I don’t have a definite answer for you, but when I first got my kitten, Koda. She didn’t use the litterbox either. It was very on and off. She would use it for pooing and occasionally peeing, but we always found pee elsewhere. I ended up switching litters to a clumping clay litter (we had...

    Front paw declawed cat question...

Hi! Declawing a cat is extremely inhumane! A cats claws are a cats first line of defense. Since the cat is declawed, it may very likely be more anxious and a bit more aggressive since it doesn’t have its natural defenses. It wants to protect itself before it gets attacked. The behavior she is...

Guesses for smoke + orange eyes?

Hi! I agree with the others. He looks very much like a Persian or British longhair with the exotic face and the thick coat. Regardless, he is such a beautiful cat. 🐱

Young cat intros (with some hitches..)

That sounds great! Keep me posted on how it goes ;)

Young cat intros (with some hitches..)

Oh I see. So based on what you said above, I’m assuming that the towel is to block that sliver of room underneath the door. I would keep the towel under the door until you think both cats are comfortable. Start by feeding them both away from the door and if they are showing no sign of aggression...

Young cat intros (with some hitches..)

Why did you have a towel under the door?

What kind of tabby is my little one?

Hi! Congrats on adopting a kitty :) Just based off of the first photo, he looks almost like a British longhair or shorthair mixed with a normal tabby to me with that exotic looking face and gorgeous yellow eyes.

    Trouble Transitioning

    That’s unfortunate to hear :( Is there anyone you can make the wet food more enticing, say adding some treats on top? I would also go with the syringe idea without adding the nipple, I think that will definitely help them transition a bit more. Keep us posted on how it goes (;

Young cat intros (with some hitches..)

I forgot it add, when you introduce them into the neutral territory. Try to distract the both of them with a toy, so that they have something to focus on rather than the other cat. If any aggressive behavior happens, such as biting, chasing, a cat being cornered, etc. Immediately remove the...

Young cat intros (with some hitches..)

Hi! I’m sorry to hear about the passing of P :( it’s always hard to lose a pet. I would continue feeding M and N on opposite sides of the door for a little longer. Once you feel they are comfortable, trying feeding them on opposite sides of a screen door or some sort of see through barrier. If...

    Not Eating Enough?

Have you tried some different foods? I feed both my kittens a raw homemade food, but I make it with chicken. I don’t know if switching to a chicken based diet will help. If you are worried about him eating not eating enough I would try to sprinkle some treats or anything he likes on top of the...

    Trouble Transitioning

Hi! What type of food are you feeding? Have you tried a different food? You could try mixing the kitten formula with a little bit of wet food and slowly start to increase the wet food as they get used to the mixture. I hope this helps!

    Mega colon, euthanasia and guilt

I am so sorry about the loss of Truman. It really hurts to lose a friend that was so close to you. I’ve been through a similar situation and it takes some time for the feeling of grief to fade away. It’s a shock when one day their fine and the next their gone. Just know that you gave it your all...

Investigating the best cat food for my cats... Any advice?

Hi! If you are looking for a high quality cat food, I highly recommend raw food. If you have the time and money, you can make homemade food. Being able to feed your own food gives you control over what is going in the food, no grain and no preservatives. I find that it’s also very affordable...
