Update: He used his litter box! We shut the door to the bathroom, and put his box right in front of the door. Also put his droppings in the box with him watching and buried it. Then used cat attractant and unscented litter. It worked, thank goodness.

I should mention he ‘digs’ at the tub, like he wants to dig and hide his mess. Still won’t use box though.
