    Rehydrating freeze dried raw

Sorry, I should have been more clear. It's not a full soak in the hot water, it's a quick run over. I mentioned it to my vet and she didn't seem to think there was anything wrong with this method (she exclusively feeds her pets raw).

    Rehydrating freeze dried raw

It's a quick under the water to rehydrate, not a full soak. I asked my vet about it and she didn't seem to think it would ruin anything. She also exclusively feeds her pets raw.

I learned this one from one of my clients and when I use freeze dried myself, I do it this way as well. In a metal strainer (think sifter), dump the amount...

    New here - I'm Melanie

Hi everyone. I'm new to the site but wanted to introduce myself. I've been a cat lover since I was an itty bitty. My current cat, the love of my life, is Maxwell Wellington. He's between 15-17; I found him as a young adult stray 14 years ago back in Upstate New York. Since then, he's lived in...

    I'm a Cat Sitter - I don't know what else to do!

Since she seems to be able to come and go outside as she pleases, there's also a chance that she ingested something she shouldn't have which could be making her sick. I concur with everyone here: a second vet opinion and blood work should be done ASAP.
