Yes I switched vets after the 1st one tried to kill her with the methimazole. I told him that thrombocytopenia was a side effect.. he didn’t believe me lol. This new vet we have seems very helpful, but I feel like we’re kinda running out of options

I’m new to this site, but was wondering if anyone has encountered the same problem I’m having.
I have a 19 year old white short haired cat with hyperthyroidism. We tried methimazole... which let to thrombocytopenia... which lead to me cat sneezing blood out of the nose.
