Update! We found him in the trap this morning! He has some scuffs and bloody claws and his collar is missing but otherwise healthy. SO so relieved, thank you everyone for helping

He came by twice again, but still not going in the trap. I decided to move the trap somewhere more hidden away, but where I know he goes sometimes.

Saw him multiple times last night, twice near the trap, but he's not really interested in the trap. He didn't look scared. I think he likes the outdoors, but I miss him a lot :(

I will put my clothes on top of the trap. I am wary about placing his blankets outside as they have been in his carrier, which as I mentioned, he absolutely hates, so I wonder if they have a "stress" scent to them?

I think it is a drop trap, and I agree, calling him isn't working at all. I tried also just talking calmly to myself to attract him. My issue is that I need to find him this week before I fly home :(
