Thanks for all the advice! We found a cattery that we are 100% comfortable with, and have put down a deposit on a Scottish Straight. Unfortunately, I have to fly to Toronto in May to pick him up, but it will be worth the trip.

Agreed GoldyCat. This is one of many red flags for this cattery, so we're steering clear.

Thanks for the information Lutece. That's what I was thinking and makes sense. This breeder doesn't have any Scottish Straights on her website, so she obviously isn't as knowledgeable as she should be. I'm dropping this breeder from any consideration.
