The owners of the house he is at have been wanting a cat for a while. But if for some reason they don't want him there is a no-kill animal shelter nearby that will hopefully take him. There is also another family that might want him if he gets along with their cat :)

We actually took the puppy to meet him today and they love each other! The puppy hops around him licking and running around like a little puppy does while the kitten rubs up against him and purrs. The puppy isn't so rough that he could hurt the kitten. We didn't let them play around very long...

Our outdoor cat Sunshine sometimes gets really matted fur. I want to make sure this doesn't cause her any discomfort, but I'm not sure she would be very friendly in letting us cut it off if it does. It eventually falls off, but takes quite a long time. Should we cut it off when it mats or not?
