I’ve noticed that my 2 months old Persian kitten has sparse fur. It’s long, but not as thick as my other Persian cats’ fur when they were still kittens. It’s particularly thinner around her belly and hind legs, you can even see the skin. She has been dewormed and she does not have fleas. Her...
She’s doing a bit better, I guess. She defecated earlier and but it wasn’t wet and there I didn’t see any ring worms. She vomited again but it was just small chunks of food again, but just a really small amount. She’s eating and drinking fine. I don’t understand why she’s vomiting.
My 7 weeks old kitten vomited twice after being dewormed. First time was 7-8 hours after being dewormed and second time was 5 hours after the first vomiting incident. I didn’t see any worms, just chunks of her food. She doesn’t seem weak or lethargic though. Is this normal?
Ps. I’m from the...
Thank you for your suggestions, guys. I’ve spoken to a friend about it and she told me some of the vets are planning to do something about the likes of her. Hopefully they get sanctioned or something.
Can I ask about how the whole “8 weeks” work with vaccine? Do i literally count the days of the week or should I do it by the month? I plan on having my kitten vaccinated at 8 weeks but people have been telling me to get it at 2 months cos 4 weeks is considered a month so 8 weeks = 2 months? She...
I’ll try playing with them using the wand toy later. Hopefully it works. I’m really excited for them to get along with each other. Thank you very much for your response!!
He’s playful but a bit more on the aggressive side. He likes to bite or scratch my hand, but not enough to actually hurt me. We have another adult cat in the house 1 and a half year old male Persian too, and they like to wrestle, which is why I’m a bit worried. He plays rough. But so far, he’s...
I think my newly adopted 7 weeks old female kitten wants to befriend my 3 year old male cat. She tries to approach him but he hisses at her, so she doesn’t push it. She just sits where she is and stares at him. She does this a couple of times a day. Should I let them be or should I try to stop...
I think she has a male adult cat who she offers as stud service. She was given a portion of the litter but she realized she couldn’t take care of the kittenbecause she’s only ever taken care of an adult cat before. I think she’s more “business-minded”. Her male Persian is locked up in a cage as...
I offered to take her in when i found out the owner kept her locked up in a cage all day everyday. Says she couldn’t take care of the little kitten because she wasn’t sure what to do with her. I’m pretty sure it’s urine stain because the yellow stain is sort of like streaks or highlights?? Like...
I’ll try looking for that specific brand. And also, i’m glad to know she can be fed dry food too. I was worried she would get hungry really fast if she only has liquids. Thank you so much!
My newly adopted kitten only laps up the watery/saucy part of the wet food but doesn’t eat the actual chunks of meat. I tried cutting them up in smaller sizes but she still didn’t touch the meat. Is this fine? Or should I give her some dry food to make sure she actually has solid food in her...
Thank you for the response! I’ll try looking for dry shampoos like you suggested. Vet and groomers are pretty pricey so i’ll leave that as my last option :-(
I recently adopted a 7 weeks old, white, female Persian kitten. Her paws, hind legs, a portion of her tail and the upper part of the fur on her body are stained yellow-brown. Her caretaker used to put her in a cage, so she must have walked or rolled around in her own urine at some point. I’m...
Hi! I think it’s a little bit of both (territorial and scared). My brother’s cat pees on his bed A LOT when he found out there was another cat upstairs (my cat). What he did at first was put pieces of dry cat food on the spot on the bed where his cat pees. It worked but it was a bit unhygienic...
My cat was neutered three days ago and he was acting fine, just a bit weak for the past days. Today, I removed his cone and he was acting normal for the first 5 hours, but now he’s scared and anxious. He’s panting with his tongue sticking out, something he does when he’s scared, and he tucks his...
