Thanks for the words of hope! I still have kitty, still no vet visit. The vet said as long as kitty is eating and using litter box, etc no hurry to bring it on in yet, and another trapping would set me back to square one. I can't touch it yet so still no idea of gender. It doesn't hide any more...
