I'll try something lile that, then, too. While she loves her area (since its kinda small but padded to oblivion), but she only lays in it in the rooms rather in the living room.
The cozy cube is like this, right?

She has a small space, its a makeshift space though. I took an old crate (a medium sized crate) and padded it out with blankets and a mini cat bed, never closed though. She loves laying in it.
I'll try to get him to stop it and use the footstool. I managed to get him to stop during the day.
I'v actually tried stuff like ottomans and even crates! (I have two large dog crates) But she still manages to get over the crates. (Because it only blicks out the back, not overhead where theres a gap if you climb the couch) While the motorized chairs I'm less concerned with, the one she loves...
I have a, 10 month old tortie (estimated) and she keeps going underneath the couches. Its scary because their recliners- two big couches that can open up right against each wall with the exception of a small gap. One is a motorized recliner while the other isn't. We got them before we had a cat...
Oh, and maybe try putting it in a crate? I do that for my kitten. My dogs (er, Leroy is an exception and bathtime too) wouldnt touch it. I prefer separating since that was easier for Leroy. (Who would steal food from his brother because HE KNEW HE COULDNT HAVE IT)
Never mind because I completely overthought it and I'm thinking in terms of people (I'm not sure how to edit sorry i was going to delete it though)
I hope he feels better despite which outcome. IBD in and of itself is just the worst. Thats coming from a person with it. But at least when he...
Wait, is it not possible for a cat to get a colonoscopy? (Or is endoscopy used in that sense?) Wouldnt that be easier than an endoscopy to find the thickening? (Though even then, I would guess it'd go only to the illeum..)
I hope he's going to do fine!
Oh my god, your cat has the name of my dog and all his issues to boot! (Down to the meowing for food!)
But from experience, at least with doggo allergies (my cat doesn't have allergies to my knowledge), some of the symptoms would sound like they'e from allergies but others don't. When Leroy...
I' not sure if this is appropriate for cats (since my last bad flea problem I had was because of my then, recently adopted dogs), but you can bath her and it's something I personally recommend. I use dawn and make a ring around the neck with soap when I bathe a dog with fleas since Dawn is...
