I certainly hope fancy feast is good because my 15 YO crazy cat won't eat anything else, dry or wet food, but must be fancy feast. I'm currently breaking idk how many international custom laws of, at least, 2 countries by smuggling the stuff from the US.... :-/ That fancy feast is powerful...
I'm glad to get a few ideas for switching her to a different food but honestly I tried everything available here from Purina and she just plain gave me the "what the. ..." look. My main concern now is smuggling the stuff for her. Idk what we are gonna do , I guess try another shipment and see...

OK guys, I wanted to update you on my anorexic kitty. Long story short she's been super picky for the past 2 years, which coincided with my move to a new place and her having access to a yard. She lost so much weight I actually freaked out and took her to a specialist, all tests came back...
Hi there, as I have previously posted, my 14 year old cat is a super picky eater now. I've been experimenting with different foods, even some homemade recipes you have kindly supplied here. I reluctantly tried canned food my vet recommended: royal Canin, she said older cats lose their sense of...
Well, let me tell you what I do and what you think I'm doing wrong .... I open a can of food, she gives me a look like "wtf are you feeding me? I ain't eating this!" she turns around and leaves. So, I open a different can, different flavor, and no, she ain't having that either. Third can...
Thanks for the reply, no, the vet didn't think it was parasites and wants her to eat better before a test and meds are prescribed .... It's just me , second guessing the vet. I'm not positive if I should be second guessing , I mean, I have a long history of being obsessive about my cat's...
Hi guys, I really appreciate all the input. So, the vet told me she really doesn't think the cat has parasites and would like her to eat well before administering any anti-parasite medication. What do you guys think? I really haven't seen her eat anything outside for a long time, but there are...
This is the cat from above. This is her pretty face. What do you guys think? I plan on going with my list tomorrow to buy everything. I opened a bag of whiskas treats, I saw them at the supermarket and told myself whatever she ate maybe 7 of them? I put them on top of her food.
Where do you get spirulina? I've never heard of it, is it human grade stuff I can buy in a holistic / whole food shop? Also, Idk how I feel about raw chicken liver ... It's available around where I live, it's just idk about how sanitary it is. Organic will be hard to find... Would it be OK to...
No vomiting no bloody stools, no flatulence . But I will check on the parasites thing with the vet. Hopefully she can sell me some tablets, vets usually like to give intravenous antiparasite medication but I just refuse to drive her all the way to the vet for a shot. She just stresses too much...
Thank you for the insight, I am so desperate and I am seriously losing my patience. The vet did a full blood panel, everything was perfectly fine, kidneys, liver, thyroid , etc . She also had a full physical. I mean the cat is the picture of health, she is active and has her routine, her yard...
So frustrating! How can I make my 14 year old cat gain some weight? Long story short , constipation back in January, we got her in a liquid diet (canned fancy feast in a blender added water ) and ever since then she has become the pickiest eater ever. She wasn't like that before, she'd eat what...
Back when my rescue "tryout" kitty was an actual kitten, some 13 and something years ago I had the exact same dilemma. Our solution was once the lease was up to move to an apartment with a patio enclosure and put lots of plants. WE LOST THE CAT for like terrifying 3 hours. We still don't know...
Is there such a thing as preventing kidney disease through diet? Unfortunately I can't find any information about it in Tanya's guide or anywhere else on the Internet. I think this vet is being overly cautious and over meticulous. My cat is 14 after all.
I saw Royal Canine at the vet's...
I can keep track of her weight, she actually recommended I come in to discuss her requirements but she did say we should start feeding her senior food just to protect the kidneys and organs. I'm willing to give it a try, I just don't want to do anything that might make her lose more weight...
OK vet confirmed it's nothing to be worried about, the liver enzyme she wasn't happy about is actually within normal values and everything is great!
The vet wants my cat to start a kidney care diet. What do you guys think?
